I have this computer on my road bike, and after a wreck a couple of weeks ago it stopped working. The display works and shows everything as it should, but it does not work when I get going. The sensor is in the right position, and I guess I do not know what else to try. Has anyone else had this problem... Do you think it could be the battery on the sensor, I do not really wanna go buy a new battery because it was working fine before this little accident.

Which one is it, the Micro or the Strada? I'm in the market for one of those and those are two that come highly recommended.

Sorry, can't help you on your problem though.

Later.

The only problem I've ever had with a cateye wireless is the batteries going dead. They are cheap, and easy to change. I would try that before anything else. The last one I had worked great until you got up to about 14mph, then it would cut out. changed the battery and viola.

Flip the bike upside down and take the wheel off - remove magnet from wheel.

Remove head from handle bar mount. Put it next to you and the bike.

Pass the magnet by the pickup and make sure you here a light, audible clicking as the magnet goes by... if you here the click and nothing happens on the head, the battery is dead!

Enjoy!

Thank you Travis. I was able to fix the proble the magnet was just not in range or the correct range from the sensor. Sure beats making a trip to buy a battery. Thanks!

I should mention that it would be easier to take the head off the mount BEFORE you invert the bike!:twitcy:

Oh, you're welcome!
