Lock 4 Wed, 4, 5, and 7:00pm + Night Ride

Heading out to Lock 4 this Wednesday (Weather Permitting) for one last good training ride before DSG.

EDIT - Several are meeting up about 4:00 for a fun paced lap (hopefully not too fast, that is!), then at 5:30 We'll do a faster, race paced lap. Then at 7:00 Mike will be there with bells on...errr, ummm, lights on for a night ride!

Gonna meet Alex Barba and several others at 5:30 pm for a lap or two, and then Mike Neumeyer is coming out around 7:00 to test out our night riding lights!!

It'll be a pretty fast-paced ride, until the night ride - that'll just be for fun!! But if we get enough people we can try to split into 2 groups if needed, etc..!

Tomorrow evening is open for me and I'd love to come and join you but I'm not about to do a fast paced loop. And I don't have lights for a night ride. Let me know if you decide to turn it into a leisure, rather than a 'race practice' ride. :thumb:

Count me in (weather permitting)! Hopefully the rain will go away. I can't do the night ride cause I don't have any lights. I will be able to get out there around 4 PM if anyone wants to ride a little earlier.

I want to ride, but I would like to start a little earlier if possible. Any chance of like 4:30? I don't have a light, and I want to make sure I get my fair share of riding in. I guess I can get their early by myself, but it would be fun to meet up with other people, if anyone want to join me.

Well - if all goes well, I may try to get out there earlier too!? Depends on some DSG paper work stuff - but I'll try!

What if we rode a pretty fun and slow lap at 4:00-ish, and then at 5:30, those that would like to go fast can do so - and then there's the night lap for all who'd like to join...

Jason & Tryon, were you planning on riding pretty fast right from the get go? Or would a good warm up and blab lap be a good start? Mike - would you be able to make it around 4:00?

Tryon - the numbers thing seems to be for the bots that troll around on message boards - I think?? If it's broken up with at least one number spelled out, I believe they can't just find it. But in all honesty, I've got no idea if that's not it!!:thumb:

4 o'clock sounds good to me. I'm in a white Jeep wrangler. As for the phone # thing, I'm not sure but someone else will probably post up and explain.

I have my lights charged. It will depend on work and how my legs feel after today. Rode at MB, about 17 miles, this afternoon. Rode red to expressway dropped into yellow, all of yellow, all of the green, then out to back blue, expressway to lost blue, then expressway backwards to entrance of park. Average speed 9.1 mph which, for me, was fairly fast paced. So my legs may, will not, have the zip for anything fast tomorrow. If work goes well, I can be there by 6:00 and do two easy to moderate paced laps. One in the light and one in the dark. If my legs feel torched from the race and today, then no way. I rode 14 miles easy at MB yesterday. If I lag no one has to wait up for me. I know the way. :hi:

Just looked at weather.com (which isn't the best from what I've heard - but I can't ever remember the 'good' sites to look at!) They're saying we should be good in Gallatin up until after 10:00PM!! So let's keep those fingers crossed and hope for a sweet ride tonight!!

I don't have a new tire for the race bike yet, so I'll be attempting all of this on the new SS!! Got the night light mount ready to go, light charged up, bike cleaned up for it's maiden voyage with a new owner - and I'm ready to ride!! (must...find...energy...)

Just found out Mike won't be making it tonight. I'll still have my lights ready and charged if anyone is there for the night ride. If not - cool, less work for the legs is all!!

Awesome news about the rain!! I hope you guys have a great ride today/tonight.

I went early because I feared the rain but its a church night also so I still needed to go early.

I was the only one there all day today so I got to take out all the spider webs for you guys :more_cowbell:
