Tour de France champion Floyd Landis went on the defensive Tuesday against the French lab that conducted follow-up tests on his backup urine samples and reportedly found traces of synthetic testosterone.

That article is not on that link anymore.. I read some of this the other day. He may never be able to prove any innocence or they may never fully prove he did it.. everything seems to be to one sided.. kind of sucks as that stage ride was amazing..
I would like to believe that he was not that stupid to dope then do that ride, he would have known they would have checked him..
We may never know the truth,,

That's exactly what I was thinking. I mean, he had to have know that they would check him, thoroughly, especially if he won.
On the same token, the French's behavior and attitude on this whole thing kinda makes them look like they are just out to get the U.S. guys; almost like they are mad because Lance won all those times. And the fact that they are STILL trying to indict Lance on some previous speculation that he failed a test back in the day.
I could be wrong about this whole thing though.
