Just curious. What is the possibility of TnMb/web host having the auto-refresh that Facebook has? Know whutta mean? That's probably some sophisticated programing, huh?

Yeah, probably some sophisticated programming, and it would kill the servers!! The shoutbox has auto-refresh, and it's just a small 'updates' style of application. To do that for the whole board for anyone that's online at one time would take biiiiiiiiiig money to have servers for. Sorry Homer!! LOL

You could probably add something to the forums but if you set the time too short it could cause load issues for the server. Forums are not light (in terms of server & database usage) by any means. If you added something like that I would make the time at least 5 minutes or longer. But the shoutbox does well. Also you can subscribe to threads via email and if you use a web based email like Gmail it will auto-refresh your inbox for you.
