Dang rain screwed me out of my training ride this afternoon.
Anybody going to L4 tomorrow during the day that can post about the trails rideability before I drive all the way over there tomorrow afternoon?

Mike did you get out there and it was raining? I haven't seen any rain at my house yet and I live close to L4.

Man, I hope your joking.
I looked at the radar on the net before I left & it was solid red all over what I thought was L4.
Had the truck loaded & was headed out the door & figured the trail would be nasty even if it stopped raining.
I was talking on the ph with Lefty Scott who was going to meet me & he saw the same thing.

twolfcon - No more looking at the weather forecast for you!! LOL :thumb:

Just playin' around. I have no idea about the weather today...didn't see too much of the day! Did notice it rained a little bit in Antioch today. Power was out at our apartment for 2 hours yesterday, but that's neither here - nor there. Well, it was here, but not there!! Uggh.

The sky opened up at around 4:45 at lock 4. I was about 15 minutes in and next thing I know there is water running down the trail, nasty thunderstorm that lasted for about 20 minutes. It rained hard enough in that short time to completely ruin my ride. I spent more time putting the bike back on the rack than I actually got to ride.

I got home in enough time to do a short rode ride since it did not rain at my house.

Nashville in the summer time!

R-A-I-N?
What is this 4-letter word?
We in Franklin are not familiar with it.

We've had a lot of thunder (to close the pool) but only one rain in, gosh, 3, 3.5 weeks.

Maybe your right Reed.
Working outside all my life, I used to be pretty good at tracking a storm, I seem to have lost my touch.
Driving a 3/4 ton pickup that gets about 13mpg, you want to make sure you don't take too many waisted trips.
I will have to hone my radar skills. :r2d2:

That is the only thing that can suck about any nature based sport. If she doesn't cooperate, you are out of luck.

Thats it, I am taking up speed skating at the roller rink!:frusty:
