I did a training ride today - only one lap - but I felt like a push in the heat. I finally broke 50 minites pedaling time at L4 - 49:44 :chewie0ol: the regular silo to silo trip (not a race lap). I could tell it was the fastest I have ever done the hills. I almost did 10 mph up the jeep climb but lost a little steam near the top.

I talked with Robert today, and he's predicting a 46 by next spring - If I can do that, I'll do sport next year

I know this is not a Bear Rampage or Mt Mitchel moment - but it's still a giant leap for me.

See ya on the trail.

Steve :peace: :plane: :training1: :crutch: :chewie0ol: :goteam:

Congrats Caveman!! Glad to see you're still working toward personal goals all the time!! 10 miles an hour on the jeep climb out there sounds pretty serious! :thumb:

A second mile stone was charlie having a 1:18 total time and a 1:10 pedaling time for the race course route (and no pee breaks :thumb: ).

If he can keep his little fingers off the brake levers, he'd probably do a 1:00 pedaling time.

Steve

PS - See everyone at the L4 race this weekend. It'll be better than the last (I hope).
