Velo Bella

My fiancee wants to get more into riding and racing. She is getting frustrated trying to keep up and wants to ride with more girls. Is there a big Velo Bella group of girls in the area who ride and race together? Or, is there a group of girls in the Team NMB who get together to ride? Any info would help. Thanks!

Molly Graves has started a Velo Bella chapter locally. Laura Sweeney (she's on this board as PinkTitus i think) is affiliated with the team and should be able to hook you up with contact info.

They have a yahoo message board for members and do regular rides. Great group of gals too.

Hello Ski Bum, My name is Laura Sweeney and I love riding with the velo bella team. They do not push anybody to race, just to have fun and ride. They have a just for fun velo group and a racing velo group. There are beginner, sport and expert riders involved with our group. We also have a lot of roadies, runners & tri's. We really just got the team started last year and we have grown into a awsome group of women. We are always welcoming new girls to our team because there are a lot of girls all over tennessee interested in riding bikes.
