Funny thing is I don't ride muddy trails but I have mud fenders front and rear :twitcy: Now wet trails - yes. There is a difference. Especially in other areas - i.e., where there are sand soils. The Dirty Spokes race last year at Yargo was a wet trail - not muddy. Sandy soils don't get muddy. Clayey soils get muddy.

Mud fenders, the best 25 bucks I have ever spent.

They would have helped some but not much.

If you look at the CCC site, 123 of the 252 racers were from TN (I did not count the WNW guys as tennesseans unless they live in TN). That's almost half were from out of state. This was on the national points series for several things. It would have been over 400 if it hadn't rained.
