Video files are huge!! Got lots of pictures to send to someone? Not everyone has a web host to upload their videos to, so here are some alternatives!

Comcast, and several other email programs only allow up to 9 MB files to be sent at once. This can be pretty annoying when you've got a 35 MB mountain bike video you want to send to your family in Utah!!

Here are some websites that allow you to upload your file for free, and then send the family a link to the file they can download...
(Found these in PCWorld Magazine. Never used them, but they seem really legitimate!)

Files-upload.com (http://Files-upload.com) - 300MB file size limit without registering. Files expire after 45 days. If you register for FREE you get your own ftp subdomain, and 1 GB file size limit.

GigaSize.com (http://Gigasize.com) - 1.5 GB file size limit, files expire after 90 days. Upgrade to a 2.5 GB size limit for $4.00 a month.

Pando.com (http://Pando.com) - 1 GB file size limit, but can be used as a peer-to-peer plug-in for various web mail, and IM clients so you don't have to use the website to transfer files.

Xdrive.com (http://xdrive.com) - Gives you 5 GB of free storage space online. (Not sure what the single file-size limit is, but that's a lot of storage for free!)

I don't know the size limit, but I usually use www.megaupload.com for that, I'll look into the ones that you've shared, thanks.

Later.
