Wind Indoor Bicycle Trainer

Would a used Wind Indoor Bicycle Trainer for $50 be worth it or would you be better off waiting, saving and getting a magnetic or fluid trainer? With the new addition arriving soon and the 12 hour around the corner, I need to get some cycling miles in at home. Thoughts?

Any training is better than none, so the wind trainer would be a good stopgap. Just remember they can be loud, so it would be best in a garage or a basement where you can close a door and keep from disturbing your wife and little BikeSwimmer when they arrive.

I've been told that babies need lots of "white noise" or would this be really loud noise? :big_grin:
