Finally finished this - you can't imagine how long it takes to build one of these. Locate the tree, cut it down, measure, cut the piece, split the piece, pre drill, screw the piece down...and that is still easier than hauling wood out there!

Here it is from the back. You ride about a 25 ft skinny to a 6 ft rock then roll down on another skinny.

And from tthe front.

Holstein is coming out to ride it Saturday. Greg Lawrence cleared this 1st time, well, as much as was built. It gets REAL skinny at one point before you turn onto the rock. It's a lot of fun.

That is freak'n awesome looking!! :worthy:

Thats it! I'm just gonna have to poach someones land and build me a playground :spy:

[sigh]..jk

**Edit - The natural wood/trees you used make it look..well...peaceful somehow. Very cool!

Lookin' good Tim.

As David said, the naturality of it looks cool. I would have liked to have done that with the Ewok Village, but considering 80+% of the lumber we've used to build the stunts out there was free, I had to do what I had to do. But I've coated a lot of the support boards (not the decking though!) for the stunts with used engine oil to waterproof the wood, and it has turned the wood a darker color that blends in a lot better.
Kenny and I had plans to extend the KM catwalk tomorrow but I think mother nature has different plans (i.e. rain). Maybe we can get something going on Sunday if it doesn't rain.

I will be building the model railroad section pretty much out of cedar posts and branches and what not though.

Good job Tim. We are talking about getting some cool stuff built here at rotary in clarksville, but everything has to be approved ahead of time. It must be nice to go out and have carblanche and build what you want where you want it. :thumb:

Wow, that looks awesome! I didn't realize you had such big plans for it! I'm already anxious to ride it over the rock and down!!

Well guys I'll have to have you all out -

I have no doubt that Chewie could rock this skinny with NO problem. It's very cool to do 3 laps and see if you can get all the obstacles on the entire trail.

Yes! But sometimes my saw accidently runs into a few and then once it's laynig on the ground what can I do?

From the looks of it, I think every single person that went to Ray's in January could rock that skinny.

Argh! I can't see any of the pics. Darn that Websense! For some reason I can't see any images that are hosted by Photobucket. If they're hosted by Imageshack I can. I'll have to check 'em out at home.

Later.

No, I don't think so. It's way to high and there is no foam pit.

You guys just let me know when you need a class on jumping into foam pits or riding skinnies.... I'll teach you how it's done! :teacher: :aikido: :pop2:

Shiner - weren't you recently featured in a video filmed at Ray's MTB Park? I saw you in that and you were awesome!

Yeah man.... since that video... I've been in high demand from most of the major studios. Several national news outlets are reporting me as the inventor of "air" and the big jump.
