It's off Burkitt Road. If you went East (south) on 24 and took the Old Hickory exit and took a right, you'll see the Cane Ridge Park signs. If you didn't turn into the park you'd hit Nolensville Road over by my neck of the woods.

"Thanks!Your response will now appear in my spreadsheet."
was what came up after I hit send.

Who's 'MY' - just out of curiosity?
Thanks for the civics lesson too - now I know who my councilman is!

We are setting up another meeting with Metro Parks about Cane Ridge Park VERY soon. Parker Toler, our esteemed councilman in District 31 is really onboard with this idea and we are pushing this as steadily as possible

    Approved!

I don't know if this is "offically official", but I talked to Darryl at Biker's Choice Thursday, and he said that Metro Parks approved this trail! Flagging to begin November-ish.

This is official and we can thank Jeff "kikapuj" as the first one to contact Metro Parks about this idea. He saw this as a potential location for trail and Metro Parks was very open to the idea when he contacted them.

Big thanks go out to our 31st District Metro Councilman - Parker Toler for taking time out of his busy schedule to really help us pull this together. Also, Bob Parrish and Tim Netsch at Metro Parks deserve big thanks as well for helping us out with this project.

We will indeed begin flagging in November and then we will have Metro review our plans before moving forward from there

    Yay!!! Awesome work guys!

It would be cool to see this trail be not quite as tight and twisty as most of the other existing trails in this area!

With the location of this park being on the county line, and so many residents in the south Nashville/Murfreesboro/Smyrna/Franklin/Mt Juliet area who ride, I imagine we can get one heck of a work group together and make huge progress on this trail once development plans are approved. It's in a really central location to those areas. I for one intend to be involved on a weekly basis. A HUGE thanks needs to go to Darryl and Jose for making this happen. I just called Metro and setup a meeting. These guys kept it going and got Parker involved and brought their expertise and SORBA reputation to the table. It would not have happened without them.
