    Big Creek Georgia Fun

Martin and I headed down to Roswell, GA - to go to Big Creek Downhill/Slalom trails.

Gotta head to work...but here's the jist...Awesome fun, jumps, berms, a couple drops, etc...Not a mountain or anything, but about 4 or 5 hours of fun that we wish Nashville had!!

Yeah man, Syncros rims are still holding up. A couple years ago after a Pisgah trip I cased small creek gap and put a huge hop in the rear rim...and quite a ding to match. I've ridden hammy with up to 2 broken spokes at a time, and even a few urban rides with the rim in horrible shape from that gap and the rims have held strong through it all!! I had Travis at Biker's Choice true the wheel a couple weeks ago for the first time since all that and it's like brand new again!! Thanks for the build job P-Chris!!

The trail above is actually right inside the city, next to a big church and an apartment complex. Pretty crazy, you'd never know it. The hill wasn't huge, but a trail like that could be created anywhere at any of the local trails we have. It'd just be a matter of getting permission. Nothing out there was wooden built structures, and the local RAMBO SORBA crew are who takes care of it all. (I believe). Keeping the fingers crossed for more to come!

Looks like a fun trail. If you want berms and short jumps, come out to Shutes and move some dirt with us. WE NEED BERMS

PS Why no videos of Amy?
Big Caveman - 2012 Specialized Epic Expert 29er and 2006 Santacruz Superlight - custom burple color
Little Caveman - 2010 Voodoo Hoodoo 26'er - Steel is Still Real / custom build

…but on Voyage 34, he finally met himself coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing (Porcupine Tree).

It was only Martin and I who went down there. this was only the downhill section of the trail too. We rode part of the beginner and intermediate to get here. Not sure how many miles of trail there are, but quite a few it looked like. We were just in a hurry to get the other stuff. Oh, and yeah I understood your Shutes dig....I'll get there some time this spring/summer. I really do want to see it out there.

A few more from Big Creek...

This one was supposed to be a video of Martin but I had the settings wrong on the cam.

This was a cool hip double jump before a huge berm - Martin nailed this every time!

    Jumping...
