    New from Nashville- seeking jumps

Hey, just joining here, been in town for a couple years. Don't ride too much, used to ride BMX... any one know of some jumps around here? Even just random spots... woods, etc?

    First welcome to the board..

The best place I can point you is to Hamilton Creek Park, BMX track... these are the only ones I am awre off that are safley always there.

All the "trails" I have know about have all been torn down over the last couple years.. You may have better luck finding trails by finding some BMX guys and ask them, this board is full of MTB'er and Roadies so not many "jumpers" on here (there are a few)

pretty much just XCers in nashville, I'm an old BMXer too and still love to jump, I know of a few urban jumps around town, could do an urban ride and show ya sometime. I usually just road trip on the weekend to get my fix. I've been looking for a piece of land to buy and build a bike park, but no luck yet... If you find a place in the Nashville area to build, I have a shovel and love to dig!!!

they used to have a "no mtn bikes" sign at the track, but i think they are okay with it now in a effort to get riders.

Yea, we do urban rides in downtown Nashville once in a while, maybe next week since the trails are gonna be wet forever with all this rain!

    welcome!!

The bmx track is fine with mountain bikers now -- they've always just hated that mtbers come ride the track when it's wet...but are never present at workdays, etc...Not that they need them at work days...just that we ride when it's wet!! LOL

That said - many times after a ride at hammy we'll go over and check out the course. They even let us do gate practice with them once!! LOL

    Thumbs up

Hey man, this is a little ways out of Nashville, but the TTC Gravity Park has all the jumps, and challenging riding you could ask for! PM me if you want more details, but it is a brand new area with over 700 acres of land. We've got multiple downhill trails there as well as a dj park, (definitely a work in progress), and a skills area with wooden elements.

Lots of jumps, lots of lots of fun. You can find directions to the TTC at www.trialstrainingcenter.com.
