    Sat May 8 - DSG Pre-ride - work party

    Talked to Clay today in Fayetteville. He'll be opening the trail this Saturday, May 8th, for a pre-ride and some help on the trails. Not sure what type of help, and I'll have to get a start time for everyone on the work party.

    This will be one day only, no camping or anything, just Saturday, Dusk til Dawn for the riding. {EDIT ---- Dawn til Dusk - LOL}

    More details to come --- if someone else talks to Clay, maybe try to find out about a good time to do some work. I'm guessing mostly trimming, but maybe some help with re-routes...not sure.

    See you there!

    I'm headed down on Tuesday to help out with whatever Clay needs to get the trail ready.

    On another note, RfR will be hosting the DSG kids race, and we will need 2 or 3 people to help out between 10 and 11. Woody's will be supplying some goodies for all the kids, we just need to line them up, and tell them to go. There will be a young kids race, and an older kids race. If you are on a team, or have family coming down, this would be a great opportunity to help RfR get some good face time with the young riders. They will be registering at the RfR tent.

    Looking forward to seeing you guys down there.

    Thanks Reed! I'll be headed down today to do some work myself, but we'd love two things:

    1. Tires on the course- Bring your bike and ride it all!!
    2. Some help with final trimming and clearing the trail via blower. Figure 9 am to beat the heat and still get in a good ride!

    We'll be working on our last re-route today...just a small diversion that takes the 911 out of 911. We are also hard at work to get the rapidly growing plant life cutback a bit more.

    Overall the trail is shaping up nicely and Fayetteville dodged the monsoon that hit mid-TN. We're closing in on this thing and the time is now to get off that fence and sign up! This one is all about Sorba and all about a good time! You pick the order.

    Hey Brian,

    Is there a age restriction for this? A lap or two in the field shouldn't take more than a few minutes and then beer for the other 11 hrs and 55 minutes.
