Well, that's alright if you like making your own bikes and stuff.

Seriously cool! You riding it this weekend?

    thanks all.

yes i'm racing it. it's the only complete atb i own.

the "graphics" will be done tonight. my name and some highlights. the roadies is _all_ paint. this is powdercoat and will have vinyl for lettering.

will have both with me at the mill, one to look at and one to get dirty.

framebuilder page? (wanders off)... didn't find anything, please direct me. more pics at facebook too.

it's really rough-nothing like a show bike, but rides better than anything i've ever swung a leg over--because it fits. of course i already have great plans for the things i'm doing different on the next one. the geo will stay the same. but must buy some more tooling first...

    cheers

sorry - meant frame forum site. one of my lurking places.
oh yeah, i used to hang out there, back before neil ran richard and dw and garro and those guys off. it was really happening back then. i check in now and again. i miss a few of the folks from there. the rest of us re-convened at velocipedsalon, it's not just a builder site though. there is a framebuilder section. the best thing there is "friday night lights" and "smoked out".

fnl is over a year old. it's where builders take shots of various aspects of their weekly work. sometimes is a lug being carved or some stainless being polished--or it could be join in mid process, lots of great stuff there. (note, gotta join to see photos, and approval is _not_ automatic, it takes a day for a real live person to give you full access/viewing privs).

while you're waiting for approval, you can read up on builders in the new "smoked out" section. the builder gives an introduction, and then fields questions from everybody. it's just getting started, but there are several pages there. i'll be one of those cats soon.

nahbs in austin next time. i'm already "crew" for my indy connection...with a second chance offer from dallas. nahbs is a par-tay. with great folks and beautiful bikes built by those folks, the small mfgs, and all that stuff. i make that trip if nothing else all year.
