    Gary,

Yellow has been cleared. Bob said he built an up and over on the Back Blue.

Thanks bro! Bob and I got the big one on Back Blue a bit more ride-overable.

    should the big tree stay?

    Homer and Kindacreaky,
What do you think about leaving that big tree on back blue? The obstacle looks...interesting, but I sort of liked that fast approach to the ditch crossing and the banked hill to 'catch' you when you hit it at high speed.

That tree is a monster. I don't think I've ever seen a larger tree down anywhere. I was just wondering if you guys were thinking about leaving it, or maybe someday taking a couple of chainsaws in there to get it out (I could round up BBRO and we could go in there - someday - when he gets off baby and landscaping duty!).

Do you have an opinion? Have you heard from others about it?

    Thanks.

Gary and I added some more improvements.

This is the largest single tree crossing in the system now. It is ridable, but the blindness of the back side will get your attention. I bet once we get used to it, that we will still have plenty of speed crossing the ditch.

it will take some serious work to cut it out. it is larger than double my chainsaw bar length, so would take bigger saw than mine to do it. Also, it is punched down into the dirt about 10", so would have to dig quite a bit to keep from dulling saw as you cut into dirt. the way it is laying, it will want to pinch saw blade as you cut in too. so because of the difficult alternative, I vote to leave it for a while anyway.

The one on Haynie Branch needs to be cut out, but have not had time.

I vote leave it for a while. I'd be glad to bring a saw and work on the adjacent beech to put some good wood before and after.

The tree on back blue has a cut through (thanks to BBRo), otherwise the adventurous can still ride over tree.

The tree down on Haynie Branch has been cut.
