Same weekend as the XC makes it tough. It is a fun race though.

I'm not an Xterra kind of guy but I am good at making sure your hydration bottle is full of beer.

This is a fun race... good luck to those that do it!

well, i'm gonna try it, but today's training session didn't go as planned. did a full lap, then after a short break did an east side lap and the quads started getting real tight at the end. tried to run after another short break, but only made it down to the peninsula before my right quad started cramping. walked back to the car.
then again, i didn't fill my water bottle with beer, so maybe that was the problem...

I hope to sign up next year. Not being able to swim real well makes it REALLY hard to join triathalons.

I'm with ya on the training. I have an 8 week old so needless to say I haven't gotten in a lot of training in a few weeks. I knew if I didn't just sign up that I'd never do it.

I'll see you and Old dog out there Saturday.

Good Luck Rob! I am not competing in the Xterra this year, but I will be there to support all the local "rock stars"!
A good ride, good friends and some great beer. Its why we ride....

I will be there this weekend doing the triple. Last year I did the double and didn't feel any worse for the wear until Monday. Adding the TT in Saturday afternoon may kill me primarily because I will be out there in the heat for 10 hours or so.

Another first-timer for this year's Xterra is going to be Dustin Greer. He's playing in my house this time. I may dunk him in the swim for giggles. ;)
