    29ers in a women's fit

This year, the brand Gary Fisher will be no more. It is being merged into Trek officially but will have a logo saying "Gary Fisher Collection". (GF was always a Trek brand up the corporate ladder)

The really exciting news is that they are finally offering women's fit 29ers! X-caliber and Mamba in the women's specific fit!

Both can be viewed at trek's website: trekbikes.com

Regardless of your opinion of "women's fit", this means more options for women!

The X-caliber is supposed to be black and gray (no girly colors what-so-ever). However, the Mamba is supposed to be black and lilac... i'm not so sure about the lilac...

ok, just thought I'd share happy trails!

Yay for more choices, my madre has been complaining about the geometry on her GF for a couple years, I bet this is what she'll need now!

And, as a not so girly girl, I like to be a little girly on the trail...I really wanted to dig the lilac, but it sure is UGLY! Blech...

Nice ride, Chesca! What saddle are you using?

My legs are really long and I seem to fit better on male models, but I'm still brand new to this. I definitely need a new saddle and it's hard to find good reviews on things in my price-range.
