I'd probably be up but nowhere near RTR... forecast is not looking favorable anyway. We'll see...

I'm hoping to make this ride, weather permitting. It rained today. Will Hammy be ok to ride tomorrow afternoon?

The rain yesterday was not enough to matter, might have actually settled some dust, by my second lap last night the trail was nearly perfect. Should be good to go for the group ride today if the majority of the rain misses.

Not trying to be all about the bad news...as I'm hoping to ride hammy tonight too!! But, according to weather.com the chances of rain don't hit until around 3pm, and then keep hitting us? Am I doing the internet weather thing wrong?

Due to the rain early this morning - frog drowner - I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Hammy is not gonna be rideable tomorrow evening. But in the spirit of the trail, please... please, if you have some spare time, go out for an hour and trim the slappers - and most importantly - remove them from the trail - don't leave them there for other trimmers to trip over or to be caught up in cranks and/or derailleurs. I cannot make it out there until next week - I'll be there Wednesday July 6 from 1pm until 7pm (1-3:30 on the Lakeside / 4-7 on the Pinnacle/Ned Shelton side). Any help is always greatly appreciated and will definitely go favorably with the Trail Gods.....

It coulda been a lot worse. I'm healing nicely and should be RTR by Sunday.

I remember the good ole days when we use to ride when it was 105 everyday, but I'll still b i t c h if it's 96.

Mike, you need to be there & quit ditching (lol!). The AC went out in our house last night so I've got that to deal with today, but regardless of the outcome & no rain, I will be there fo' sho'!

I'd like to see a big turnout this evening!

Killer ride last night... WOW! It was hot, I mean HOT, son... I thought I was hydrated but working outside in this stuff all day and riding got the best of me... cramped up big time heading back to the lakeside. The ride was fun nonetheless... trail conditions were excellent... only the usual spots that hold water were messy, but will be fixed come this fall, when it cools off... great to see Reed, Amy, Yvo & Shane... meet some new peeps - Brian (Requiem) & Mark... excellent food & beer at La Hace afterward. My legs are blown today but looking forward to another ride this weekend & next Wednesday!

Yep - great ride and much needed! Thanks again to Amy and Reed for saving my night with the spare tube. New tire already on order!
