Nice run - Windmill is a fun trail and I have to say for anyone who watches - that rock roll over in the beginning of the video is intimidating in person - in the video it looks easy but it is pretty big I never could get myself to do that on the run.. Nice vid

No doubt - video doesn't ever do the landscape justice (pic from the side below). It took me forever to hit that rock, but then was kicking myself when I finally did. Windmill is super fun . . . I ended up cutting out half of the footage to fit into the music too. There's been talk about 're-building' the original Windmill trail, starting from the windmills . . . that'd be awesome! I got into DH just after that part of the trail wasn't accessible anymore.

Several of us are planning a work party this winter, I'll post it up and if anyone can make it = awesome. We were thinking of a two day weekend - work Saturday & ride Sunday. With all work being concentrated on the top trail. I looked at it during springfest and a lot of work had been done already but the heat and weeds and desire got the better of them.

I had no idea the top was not open anymore? It has been about 6 years since I have gone (kido did a re-prioritizing of my ridding) but when I did go I liked the top better than the bottom much faster and perfect for a 6 inch AM bike. the trail gets rocky and steeper about mid way down. interesting - the top was a fun place to start under the giants of those windmills.

Won't be able to get away for the weekend, but will be able to out in some work Sunday morning before riding that weekend.

Yeah, I've seen vids of the entire run and it looks like it was killer!
