    Nashville freeriding

Hey I'm somewhat new to Nashville. Does anyone know any local dh spots or good freeriding locally? It would be nice if there was something closer than 1 1/2-2hrs away. I know someone has to have cut some runs around here, there plenty of big hills to do so. If someone is working on a trail close by I'm down to get some people out to help build. Thanks!

What's up fellas! Do you guys know if RMB Mike's freeride spot is still up and running? I helped build the beginning of that place and hoping to see the results now... I'm really wanting to get back into FR. Any new places?

It's still out there, though we haven't had a chance to ride it in a while and it will need some TLC, it won't need too much.
I have been meaning to go out there one day and clean up at least one line.
This weekend is supposed to be nice and I'd like to go out and work on it one of those days.
If anyone wants to come take a look at, just let me know and we can work something out.

This is either John or Jeremiah. LOL
If you say you want to get back into freeriding, then I assume that it's Jeremiah. haha
You talked to Doty lately? He's supposed to still be in town.

You guessed it. Jeremiah! Man it's goin good. Got a son on the way, he'll be here late November. Haven't talked to Eric in a few months. He stays out of town mostly so it's hard to keep up with him. How's the park doin? Add anything I wouldn't try? Lol

Think we need to get some FR oriented people over to the Village. Love to check that place out again!

And by clean up, what do you mean? Weed eating? Rebuilding the wooden skinnies?

For those of you who are not familiar with this place, think 8 to 10 foot elevated skinnies, drops and one 12 foot (maybe?) wooden drop to wooden landing, Scared the crap out of me when I rode it a few years ago. Would love to hit it again.

The place is super cool. When I was out there last the 12footer was the last thing built I believe. Some dirt berms a pretty sick table top that could be cleared without hitting the table if your up for it lol. Tall skinnies. Couple other drops 3-6ft. It's got big potential if there were some FR guys willing to spend a couple weekends out there. In my opinion it's prime spot for some sick dirt lines! I don't own I bike anymore but I'm really missing flying through the air. That being said I want another. So any leads on a good jump/dirt bike would be appreciated. Started out on a flow, moved to a session 77, then went back to hard tail on a GF GED. Yea holler at RMB Mike, he'll be able to give details being I haven't been out there in years. It's definitely a fun place to ride, no doubt!

All of the above, but not all of them. Just a few posts here and there. Plus, we removed that little step up to the platform and are going to build a bigger one...kinda like the one Jeremiah, John, and Erik built, but to where it will flow a bit better.

For those of you who are not familiar with this place, think 8 to 10 foot elevated skinnies, drops and one 12 foot (maybe?) wooden drop to wooden landing, Scared the crap out of me when I rode it a few years ago. Would love to hit it again.
Tim, no need to imagine it. Jeremiah, there are quite a few things we've built that you haven't seen yet, that are in this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4M7ztp6EvXc

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR1FH8U-zYM

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNFc09NvkM0

In this video, take note of the catwalk atop the platform, veering off to the right. That is new. None of you have seen that one yet. It's not complete but it will lead to a 13ft high drop, about a 5-6ft high transition and probably about a 10ft gap.

I think I'll probably go out there this Saturday and see if I can get at least one line back up and running.

It is on private property but just let me know when you want to swing by and I'll ensure Kenny knows.
Once he's met you, I don't think he would care if you rode it when no one was there.

Hey Mike - Pick a weekend, perhaps next weekend? And I will come out, bring weedeater and hammers/nails, screw guns etc. I'm sure others would join in as well if you pick a day.

Take some pics and share . . . it's my wife's b-day, and that takes precedence. Although, I'll be there the next weekend!
