Hey curious - all of that looks doable on a hardtail.. but videos are deceiving - how much fun would an all mountain hard tail have there?

You can do it, but don't think it would be much fun - at least for me since my knees would be destroyed and possibly the rims depending on how much impact they absorb due to the lack of suspension.

A buddy of mine went there with his trail bike that has 4" - 5", took one run, and rode our DH bikes the remainder of the day. The trail bike was much rougher and the steep geometry left us wondering if he was going to go over the bars.

If you ever want to try it out, I'm sure we can find a way you can take a few runs on a DH bike. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to try out any bike of yours out there. Everyone is different, so my concerns won't necessarily be your concerns.

Like the last video, I remember the small jump 40 seconds in. First run down, I really though the speed that I had I would just roll it. Air happened followed by a front wheel landing. Then "I got it, I got it"........ Not really!!!!!!!!

LOL! Gotta love those ... Especially if you're able to ride away from it!

What would it be like riding up it? Also, dry leaves = BROWN ICE!

It would probably be like kayaking up stream. I'm sure you could do it but these guys don't have much of this terrain to play on so I'm sure they don't want to meet an XCer and be expected to yield.
    It's not that bad

There are many trails to choose from, some of which we don't ride but just every so often, so it could work out if you wanted to ride up - would be a very challenging and technical venture.

Some sections though, are impossible to walk up, let alone ride up, due to the grade.

The reason I ask is because when you watch a video it is in only two dimensions. I know it's a lot steeper than it appears.

Drop me a message while you're in town. I'm not going to have time to make a trip out of town, but I'll hit some of the stuff in town if you're in Clarksville.
