Wildflower Motorsports Spring Hill TN Pump Track

Hello my name is David and I work at Wildflower Motorsports in Spring Hill TN. We have land, dirt, equipment and a huge parking lot. We have a area I think would be great for a pump track and have already started moving some dirt. Would there be anyone interested in a pump track in this area?
Wildflower Motorsports already has tracks/trails for motorcross,ATV,and side by sides. There is also a rc car track as well. We still have room to grow and the land owner is no opposed to a full scale bmx race track. We are located just 40miles south of Nashville just off i65. If there is any interest in a bmx or pump track let me know. mxwildflower.com

I recently moved from Franklin to the north side of town, if I was still in Franklin I would be all over it. You could also build some dirt jumps. I would come ride occasionally but I live a long way from there now.

Are you the motocross tracks that are right next to the interstate?

Yes you can see park off I65 near mile marker 49-50. Big jumps would be awesome and easier to make while I am bringing more dirt in so paint some lines and we will pile it up or you can shovel it later. We want to go big so it will be a destination worth driving to so any input or help is appreciated.

I am not even a pump track type person and think that is looking awesome. This would be just one more thing to make the Middle TN area an even better bike/ mt bike friendly area

Holy Balls. I haven't see that kind of land commitment around here before. I am stoked, and need to figure out how to convince the wife that I need an 8th bike.

Who is planning the lines? Any bike rider input happening during the design process?

Right now there is only two of us working on the track at this time. Currently we are working on the outside lines. Rollers and berms will fill in the middle with multiple lines between the trees. We can and will move the dirt around until everything flows as it should. By early spring we hope to have the track completed. If anyone would like to get involved in this project just let me know. This is what the area looked like just a month ago.

Hey props to you guys for going at it _ I will most certainly by coming down to ride when completed and would happily pay to play.

Just a caution - as I know you all have built up the motorcycle track by the interstate the transitions for MTB's will be different and from the looks of the pictures they may be a bit hard to "double" I think keep in mind some variety so we can pump some get up some speed then start hitting them as doubles - heck even putting in an old school triple would be awesome.

Not wanting to complain I am stocked just offering some perspective (I have had my MTB at a MX track and it was not to fun)

DirtDog36 if you want a DJ I used to have one of these http://www.blackmarketbikes.com/inde...d=4&id=2&cid=4

A Black Market Mob - I loved it used to ride it street, at 6th Ave, and the park by two rivers it was AWESOME

If anyone is interested in our pump track please come check it out free of charge. I still have more dirt to add more lines and jumps. We can go all out on this track just need some direction. Bring your bike and bring your friends and let build the best pump track around.

Took the kids down and tried out the pump track. it was well built, well laid out. However...I'm guessing it was not designed by someone who does this type of riding. The banks turns are fun - but it's all pump, no jump. I would have like to see some variation, maybe some table tops or something that would be a pay off. I hope Wildflower keeps this going and continues to improve! This has the potential to be a lot of fun.

Yes this track will continue to improve. Jumps, tabletops and more lines are in the plans. All ideas and suggestions are welcome. We still have more dirt available. Tell your friends and bring your buddies out and lets make this track super fun. Remember this track free for now, just sign a waiver and have good time.

I will be back for sure! I did enjoy it - remember that even "off road" cycling is really segmented. There are about 5 different disciplines just within mountain biking alone. it will be hard to please everyone. The current setup will work well for hard tails and smaller wheeled bikes like BMX bikes. It would be great to see some lines with a little more space in between the elements that would be better for mountain bikes.
