    Local wheel builder?

Anyone able to recommend a good, local wheel builder to me? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post. Thanks

I'd say MOAB in Franklin would have someone. Gran Fondo probably would, too.

You might get quicker feedback on FB at Nashville Mountain Bike group.

I think Travis, at Bikers Choice, is a wheel builder also.

Travis is no longer St Bikers Choice. He moved to Eastern Tennessee, I believe, recently.

I had my mtn bike wheels built by Rick Harmon, who is currently working at MOAB Franklin. He did a great job.

Robert, if you were on FB you'd know! Travis is at a newly opened Trek Bikes in Johnson City. According to Ryanthelyon and others, there are some pretty killer trails around there.

    Yes Robert, get on FB!

I'm at brand new store in Johnson City, Tennessee. Back in October, Charity decided(finally) to go back to school and pursue her Nurse practitioner's degree. She wanted to go back to ETSU where she got her nursing degree. In November, we found out about the store coming to an area devoid of a Trek retailer.

That being said, I'm still doing what I do and yes, wheel build s well. I still have my old contacts and we are just getting tis bird off of the ground.

I'd offer up Rick at M.O.A.B bike as well. He's probably been at it longer than anyone in the area, for sure.

I'm exited for the area, for sure!

PS. We have awesome trails and more coming along with a rails-to-trails that'll stretch from Johnson City to Roan MTN.

Glad to hear you and your wife are doing well. See, I didn't need FB to find it out.
