What flashlight do you use when you ride at night

Hi, I am looking for a flashlight to mount to my bike so that I can ride at night. Do you have any suggestion? How bright it should be? Do I need to pay about $100 for a flashlight, for example, Fenix, Sure Fire? What flashlight are you using? Or you are using a headlamp?

$20 on amazon each.. Take your pick. Buy two, one for your bars and one for your helmet.

I took this simple bike light https://www.mrosupply.com/lighting/e...324_5953_nebo/
I ride not very often, but it is good. In addition I use the headlamp. It is more convenient.

Ay Up from Australia. I firmly believe in two good lights. I have had one go out on me and luckily had the other one.

http://www.ayup-lights.com/index.php...t&product_id=3 about $300 USD with shipping

Handlebar light makes shadows and head mounted points where you look. The handlebar light often is not pointing where you need it, especially in sharp turns.

I looked at the Fenix recently, and it's about the same cost for the Ay Ups. But the Ay Ups have way more battery life. Really nice lights. Includes helmet, handlebar, and headlight straps.

…but on Voyage 34, he finally met himself coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing (Porcupine Tree).

Never had any grief at Lock 4, as far as I know. Technically, the park closes at dark except for fishing. Night rides have been going on for the ten years that I've been riding. You could probably get away with it at Defeated Creek, too.

Shutes Branch is good too. Boat ramps next door don't close.

I think Hamilton Creek closes at 10 pm?

I've ridden hammy at night. That parking lot is dark near the trailhead. I always park down by the portopotty since the lights work there.
