This ride is going to be stoke-worthy! It's an event that is a few years in the making. It's going to be an absolute blast, and will certainly create tall tales and fireside stories. The entire goal for this race/ride consists of camaraderie and fellowship. Too often with cycling events we lose sight of the fact that we are all just big kids riding bikes, and we really want to enjoy the adventure AND camping experience.

On Saturday a few of us scouted 35 miles of the course and had an absolute blast, thanks in large part to this unreal weather. The organizer is from Hickman County and knows where the hidden gems lie out there; we have been working on these routes for some time. Last year we rode with Johnny Crow and showed him some roads even he didn't know about!!

Please feel free to ask me any questions you have on here, but there is also a facebook group "Gosh Darn Gravel Grinder" for immediate inquiries.

I will not be able to participate on race day as I work on Saturday's so if you want to send me the route I would love to ride it. I would need a cue sheet and then take my maps of the area with me. I ride the area out of Hickman County High about once a month so I know that side well and have been as far as, well, I will just say pretty far from where I start out.
