First ride at Lock 4 next week

I travel to TN no business quite often and figured I would start toting the Felt 29'r down with me to enjoy the trails ... my plan is to ride Lock 4 next week as it is within about 20 miles of where I will be working...

Any general comments or words of wisdom would be appreciated... if anyone wants to ride with an old slow guy let me know..

Mountain Biking is 80% mental, 40% physical, and 20% skills... and that may add up to more than 100%, but I don't know.. I hit my head on a tree this weekend.

Would the home trail be Norris Watershed? I was there a couple of winters ago working in the Powell area and fell in love with it!

Nope.... quite a ways north of there. I live just east of Indianapolis and my home trail is Westwood park.. it is a sweet flowing 10 mile loop that promises to get the heart rate maxed out... not a lot of big climbs but those little rollers and tight twisting single track make it a blast...
