I forgot to add my "Old School" 1983 road bike. It gets the job done but I'm on the search for something nicer.

Last June, my dreams came true

A few parts later, it's still my best girl

And Little Caveman's Bling Bling ride

His girl has some new parts too (not shown in these pics)

    Steve
Big Caveman - 2012 Specialized Epic Expert 29er and 2006 Santacruz Superlight - custom burple color
Little Caveman - 2010 Voodoo Hoodoo 26'er - Steel is Still Real / custom build

…but on Voyage 34, he finally met himself coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing (Porcupine Tree).

Well, I absolutely LOVE my Remedy 66 and then seeing the 2008 Fuel EX 8 & 9 I was pleased to see ALL of the new changes to the Fuel EX have been applied to the all new Remedy SL and then some!!!

So here is the now pics and the NEW 2008 Remedy SL it will be because thankfully, they are doing a frame only this year!!! After all, I've got a pretty good build kit close to what it's going to have!

The bummer is it won't be ready 'till the end of December...

BTW - the frame is a 19" if you are interested!

And while you all post your expensive rigs . . .

    . . . here's my cheap ones!

The $180 Diamondback Outlook that I had:

The IronHorse Maverick that's too small for me, so I gave it to my sister:

And my baby, my Specialized Hardrock Comp.

    (Sorry for the huge picture.)

    In the snow:

More snow (and a few modifications thanks to MSPaint):

And me just being my normal weird self:

I'm thinking of painting it lime green after that last one.
Family calls me Eric. Fans call me Joey. Friends call me an idiot.

Weirdest tool I ever used on a bike: Railroad Spike

2007 Specialized Hardrock Comp Disc - Red
2006 Specialized Tricross Comp Triple - Black
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab - Blue
    2004 IC/Thomas CE200 - Yellow

Here's mine... (Not shown - Trek 6500 with smooth tires for the trainer) The race bike hasn't been touched since the last Lock 4 mud race. Flat tire still sits too. Bent the 2nd post on the Moment, so I stole the post from the race bike for a while. Time for some fixes/upgrades!!

Some pics of the stable. Road bikes on the left, MTB's on the right. (you have to keep them seperate or they just fight) (took out the garage pics - too many attachements)

    Road Bikes:
'98 Trek 470 (commuter, the work horse)
    '06 Pilot 2.1 (wife's new bike)
'06 Madone (black on black Project One paint job)

    MTB's:
    '06 Fuel EX9
'93 Trek 7000 (old faithful, first bike, bought in college, wife doing a little MTB on it now)

My wife was appalled that I put up a picture of the garage is such disarray. Ignore the mess and focus on the bikes - that is if the picture was in focus...nevermind.

    Absolute Truth

Kelly (FullSquishy24) brought over a new frame so we could swap out some cranks. We loaded up his Truths with 07 XTRs. A little tricky to get on, but I think we figured it out. Probably not the best picture of Kelly but it was late. He's much better looking in person. Check out that velvet red -

At the bottom of one of my favorite downhills. The build is a bit different these days.

One of my favorite action shots. This section of Burnt Mountain is fast, not to mention hairy.

This I would consider my new addiction. A whole different ball game than the rig above.

Holly - did you take your bike to Glamor Shots? Good backdrops for the bikes, though.

Holly - is that the same place that Reed takes his new bikes when he photographs them? Mexi-Melt - that is a great shot of you in the air. I'd get that framed.

    current rides

Wow....those are a bunch of shiny bikes, and I've been witness to Cooper's (Chris), no scratch-look brand new care....I'd take him up on the wash.

    Newly finished SS

Finally took the time to finish up this build. I had a bunch of leftover parts so I'm sure I'll upgrade over time but as it sits its at 23 lbs.

Never thought I'd buy a Trek mountian bike - that's for sure! Oh well, you need to give props for Trek coming out with a kick A$$ product that has not only gotten some kiler reviews, but also a 6 page write up on their proprietary ABP suspension in this months MBA. If you are looking for nice Santa Cruz XL Blur it is for sale with SRAM X.O. Send me a private message if interested.
