I just one question about the new ride. Are those tires tubeless?

Nice. That was a heck of a deal. I took advantage as well and picked up a Scott S20 road bike. Was actually my third choice but the first two were sold before I could get to the shops that had them. Sounds like the sale was a hit as they are cleared out of 2009 models now.

My two complete opposites. Just got the 29er yesterday, I could not pass up the deal. It was pretty cheap and than I got 50% off. It is not as nice as the other 29ers around here, but it is mine. First upgrade will be a set of BB7s.

got it for two reasons, to help get to sub-clydesdale and to get to/from the bar. this isn't exactly a mutually exclusive proposition.

    i can't complain, i got it for a steal.

when i lived less than a mile from the bar and about a mile from downtown, we would frequently ride to the fun time place, proceed to become possibly intoxicated, and then ride home. Made for good times.

where did you get that disc brake adapter for the rear? I've been looking for something like that for an old hardtail I want to rebuild.

i bought it off Mikeb75. i'm thinking he may have another one - just pm him and ask - super nice guy!! if he doesn't have one he will know where to purchase one.
that thing is trick - rock solid and can still remove rear wheel with QR - just have to pull skewer all the way out of hub (no biggy). much better brakes than old rim brakes!!

Those were still in production not long ago, but I don't see them listed on a2z's site anymore.

    Here's one on Ebay:

Edit: You can still get to it by searching, but I'm not sure that means it's in production...

I thought I'd add mine here as well. I've only ridden Montgomery Bell but can't wait to get over that way to get some more riding in.
