You should come down to the TTC about an hour south of M'boro. We have DH trails there, but at the base we already have DJ's built with the liberty to build whatever we want out there without having to wait for approvals/permission since it's private land.

PM me anytime you want to head down there! You can also email mtgravitybiking@gmail.com!

    Talking Finally......

after 6 months of torturing myself, here it is. A major THANK YOU to Mark Dement, Xavier and all the crew @ MOAB for letting me drive them absolutely wonky over this build. And as always, THANK YOU Travis (Biker's Choice) for fixing my f'ups... I know now that 36/26 is not a workable combination.

Here's my bike. It's a work in progress...

The only things that are original are the frame, h-bar and crankset. Next up for replacement: the crankset.

Could someone PM me and tell me how to imbed an image? Thnx!

tvancleve - You'll have to upload your pics to a place like photobucket, flickr, picasa, etc...and then use the embed code on each picture to copy and paste in your post here. I think that's it! Others may chime in with more places to upload photos.

Here's my Quiring with it's latest changes. Just put on a new custom Reba XX 29er fork with maxle lowers. Still testing a few different saddles for my next replacement. I do have to say I'm really liking the one I'm testing in these photos, it's the new WTB Vigor. Both the fork and the test saddle came from Nashville Bicycle Lounge.

Ok ok ok ok. I get the brake cable on the inside thing, though it does always make me worry it will get caught in my wheel.

BUT...... Did you really use a black zip tie to attach your brake cable to your fork, then paint the zip tie white where it goes over your white fork? And leave it black where it goes over the black brake cable?

wow, that is a new level there Chris...

Finally my new SuperFly SS! Basically the same build as my Lynskey that was stolen, but a different frame of course and Crest rims instead of Arches! She's weighing in at a whooping 19.6 lbs completely built w/ pedals and water bottle holders! Wasn't meant to be a weight weeny build, but she turned out light as a feather. Now its time to get back into shape, and start riding again...

So I finally broke down and bought my wife a mountain bike of her very own. Previously, she had been using my Hardrock which is a 19" and a bit too big for her. I had her test ride this bike a few months ago to see if she liked it. Today I suprised her with this bike. It is a 17.5" Hardrock Disc 29er. She loves it so far, and it will get it's maiden voyage Sunday at AEDC. The good thing is that the bike has been there for a few months being test ridden, so the brakes are almost broke in already. No planned upgrades yet, but shifters and deraillers may be coming in the future. Here are the specs and the pics.
