I plan on getting some race training in at L4 this afternoon, probably around 4:30 - 5:00. My race training is probably the real racers relaxed pace :plane:

I just came through Nashville and it looked like it might rain. So I am going to head to L4.

Should be out there between 4 & 5.

Sorry, you will probably not get this in time, but I'm still at work.

Be curious to hear how Lock 4 was. According to radar it looked like it was getting pounded most of the afternoon.

Well, the entire way there it rained cats and dogs, but I kept going, in hopes that when I got there it would not have rained in Gallatin. It had.

But, it was the best ride I have ever had there. A few places on the West Loop retained a little water, the roots and locks were a little slick, but it was rocking fast. The ground pretty much just soaked the rain up and it settle the dust.

I know for you old timers it doesn't amount to much, but I did the entire 16 sections in 1hr 14 min, averaged 8.7 mph. Took a break and hit it again.........well lets just say the 2nd lap was a little bit slower.

All and all, it was great, missed you guys too.

By the way, there is one monster tree down on the west loop. It's going to take one big saw to cut that thing too.
