Hammy FUN ride pics & vids

Since a carbon fork and Hammy don't go well together I decided to bring my camera along and watch Reed & Tryon play around on all the rocks at hammy. Me, Kelly, Reed, Tryon and Travis spent several hours riding around Hammy on Thursday.

Travis pulls up ready to ride Hammy!!

Hahahahah!! Oh, Reed, you are a funny man. You are really graceful too! (As shown in the last video!) That is hilarious. I was standing right there and it is still funnier on video!

Kelly's commentary almost made me cry, I laughed so hard!

Good pics and video Frank! Those really came out well! Thanks for taking them!!

Fun ride guys!! Oh, and thanks again for all the tubes!!! I went right to MOAB and bought 6, so I'm ready to pay you all back!!! (I actually went throught 4 tubes that ride. That has to be a record, and not a good one!)

An instant classic in the legend that is TeamNMB. What performances by X and Smash (Crash). Gotta love the rock climb by X and the rock wall ride by Smash......
I had a great time as both commentator and prop for the jumps. I am ready to do it again. What fun we had. Good job boys and great video's Mongoose.

I would have had more pictures of Tryon but I took most of my pictures when we would stop so Tryon could change a flat tire.

Man, what a great - and needed time on the bike!! We were out there for nearly four hours and didn't even make it around the whole loop once!! We ended up cutting out after the pinnacle hill at ned shelton rd!!

Thanks to Tryon purposely slashing his tires every half hour or so, I had a chance to play around on all the rocks as much as I could. I'm still paying for it 2 days later, in my arms, shoulders, back, legs, etc...

I'll never forget seeing FullSquishy on the ground in the fetal position hoping he didn't get ran over at the triple op drop!! Be on the lookout for a new avatar!!

Thanks Chris, Tryon, Kelly, and Travis for an awesome day of 'no training' riding!!!

Oh -- and congrats to Tryon for hitting the Triple op drop multiple times in a row flawlessly for the time --- on his hardtail single speed!! Like...buttah!!

Must do this at least once a month to keep the stress out of riding!

It really is worth doing a ride like that periodically. It's a completely different kind of riding! Oh, and maybe that wasn't a 'race training' ride, but I got plenty of jump and drop training!! Not to mention tube changing training. Did I mention I hate tubes?

I like tubes!! But I've gotta have the air pressure nearly to the max for these rides!! I hate flats, and bent rims!!

Thanks for the pics Chris, oh excuse me... Mongoose! Nice to FINALLY meet Tryon in person! Kelly and Reed, it's always fun to get to talk/ride/hang out with you all!

First off - This is the last time ever I will bail out early to go look at Baby Furniture!!!

Secondly... Did anyone get a good clock of my speed off the photo-op-drop, I was used those Ocoee type speeds and had to adjust to here back home!!! LOL :aikido:

This type of ride is why I don't race anymore - that and I stink at racing...(I can go fast any other time!)

Man that looked fun. And the type of riding that I like to do instead of hammering the entire time. For your wall climb Tryon, all I can say is..

    OUCH!!

Sorry I had to miss it because of work.

It had to be at least 34 or 35 m.p.h.!! Good thing that tree was there at the end though, or you may have ended up in the lake!! Haha -- I don't even know which direction the lake is in -- but you were flyin'!! Maybe even just a scooch unneccesarily!! LOL

    Good times!
