    Everybody registered?

Regular Registration rates will through 5/03/2009. Late Registration fees will apply after 5/03/2009. Late fees are $10.

Don't forget to Donate to Sorba if you can. Each $10 donation you make to SORBA is a chance to take home a Moots Ti mountain bike frame.

Can I ask a technical question?

If I want to register myself on line but I'm a part of a 5 man beer team, how do I do that?

When I click on the Here for the Beer cat then go to register it asks for at least 5 peoples info.

I just want to regsiter and pay for me.

    Thanks!

Why do you have to be that way? Always a pain in the....

I'm not sure. I thought it was changed this year to allow that. I'll check with the guys and try to get an answer posted up.

    Team Registration

Oh boy, dissension in the group already. That's not a good sign.

Team registration requires the whole team.

And remember there is no "I" in team.

    GroupThink

If I recall last year when the reigning "Here for the Beer" champions the "Stanky Cowboys" signed up, we had old money bags Kelly "Sandy's Friend" Benward sign us up on his gold card and we all paid him back in pennies, (or spades I can't remember...) That is the way you have to do it, if memory serves. But then again, I'm no Grant or Clay.

Don't worry, team "Stanky Cowboys" has disseminated so the category is wide open. Anyone could win it, even the sad team Full Shrimpy is on with his kick-side Cooper.. (This is the official beginning of the DSG smack talk...unless I missed it somewhere else .)

This could be Uzzi's chance to have a show down with CodeRed and end the 2 year smack down he received during the Lock 4 challenge.

Since the smack talk has begun and I have personally been smacked......

I just wanted to let you know we are all waiting in breathless anticipation at the dynamic duo of fellow roadies Suzi Spencer and Carl "Slingblade" Smith in the duo category this year. I hear there is some stiff competition coming your way from the Moots/Swiftwick boys and the Harpeth Bikes teams.....?

Also, on a personal note we have a side bet going on the fastest lap on the day between Suzi and Red.....Memories of Lock 4 in the fall of 2007 are on the minds of some....

I'm not an official, but that was an official answer. The whole team has to register together.

    Official option #2:

Mail in the registration with a check! That way we can accept this ion the piece meal plan. Clay is going to be a bit annoyed with my suggesting this as it increases our mental fatigue in getting things sorted out, but that is an option. It would help if you mentioned the other team members in this communication as well!

Best bet: Nag the heck out of your team mates to get signed up and do it on the interwebby!

BTW: I'll post details later this week, but if you've not signed up, you are missing the proverbial "boat". We've got some late editions to the schwag bank that are more than worth the price of admission! If that and the free beer are not enough, you also will get free breakfast and $10 in Dirt Dollars to buy yourself a meal after the big pow wow.

    Thanks,

    Grant

another option is to appoint yourself the leader, sign up the team, and then charge each member a 10% filing fee for their registration.

Team Full Chimpy: I forgot what a sensitive little woman you are. You are going down like Lee at Gettysburg. As to my ol pal Sport Lite - lap time for lap time it's ON like monkey kong. Finally we can put to rest your endless mouth flapping of your premature victory of yester-year. I look forward to giving you the opportunity to make your boasting (or should I say "court jesting") more up to date, unlike your clothing selection.

Myself and Carl "Coffee Makes Me a Bit Nervous" Smith have been busy shaving our legs and trying on cycling caps for the big occasion. This means one thing, Team Roadie is ready to bring it. We might even do a few laps on our road bikes just to make it fair.

Oh great now that I open my pie hole watch me get a flat or my d-railer brake and all the single speeders will laugh at me.

    Let the games begin.

Only smack I'll be talking is when my face hits the trail from lack of training for it.

I have been training for the free beer event though.

But I am, sort of. It's not a "fixed gear bmx 16" unicycle" but a 24" mountain unicycle. Be forewarned, I'm the "crazy guy on a unicycle" this year, hard to miss me! Just try to avoid spraying dirt and gravel all over me as you go whipping by lap after lap!
