    Another book delivery via bike!!

Alright! We had so much fun on the first delivery that we are going to do it again. On Friday, September 25th we are going to be delivering books to the 25 students of the International Newcomer Academy (INA). INA is a school specifically designed for children who come from refugee camps. These children have owned little to nothing of their own, so they are going to be very excited to see our bikes and receive a book. I am also working to try to get each student a helmet. Two students from the school suffered head injuries do to a bicycle and skateboaring accident. I would also low to aquire enough bikes for each kid, but that may be a stretch. If anyone wants to help this happen please contact me (info@rideforreading.org).

If the start time is around 9:30am or later I can help. If earlier, I can't get there that soon. Let me know.

I will be in Florida on vacation, so I will miss this one. I would like to help you out on another delivery in the future.

I'm definitely in too. The last one was an amazing experience. Mathew was awesome with all of the teachers and students!

Mike, full body armor is a good plan.

i am going to try to take up a collection at work tomorrow to see if I can raise enough to buy a few helmets. Im guessing average bell type helmets will work. Still wondering what time this is starting on the 25th? thanks and I will see what i can do.

I am thinking we will arrive about before they get to lunch. So we can be there about 10:45 or so.

I wonder if you could maybe go to local bike shops and see if they could set up a box or something for customers to drop off helmets...not sure if that would work...Halcyon Bike Shop i believe recently gave a few bikes to some kids, so maybe they would have some connections for how to get a few more. Just some thoughts..

I am sad to say that I am going to have to move the donation to another day. The children we were going to donate to are not going to be at the school tomorrow. They are going on a field trip. Sorry for the late delay, but I will have a new date scheduled ASAP.

It's fate! I can't make the time frame! I work afternoon/evenings so I would have had to sit this one out. That would be a very big disappointment!

    Standing by for new date/time!
