Anybody up for a roadtrip to Vermont??!!!
Thanks for posting that Reed. That was some good footage. I just bought a jump bike even though I have never jumped anything in my life! I like the thought of learning some new skills and there is an indoor skate park that just opened up across the street from CFC in cookeville. Who know I may even build a pump track at the house.

If you do all of that - make sure you take some pics and videos for us all! That's awesome that you stepped out of the same ol' same ol' box to try something new! Take some photos of that new indoor park too!! Sounds awesome.

Is there any in tennessee
There's a lot of private land that we are able to build on . . . build anything. Primarily it's DH right now, but the idea of a bike park is starting to grow and XC trails, pump tracks, DJ's (already begginnings have started) Dual Slalom (TryFour and I will start on that this Winter), etc. can be built.
Literally, anything anybody wants to build (run it by a couple of the guys there and figure out the best placement first), but the only thing holding anyone back from having their dream course/trail in Middle TN is the drive. It's about an hour from the 'Boro, which is not bad at all for what it offers now, not to mention what it could offer if folks wanted to build! Carpooling makes it that much easier too.
There's a few of us from Nashville/'Boro and a good number from Chattanooga - and the numbers will pick up soon. As all the other bike parks close for Winter, TTC is open year-round!
The awesome part to that is you are not limited by waiting on Metro's approval, or then disapproval, nor do you have to wait on someone else.
Really - any awesome bike vids with crazy trails/features seem to get a lot of great responses on this board that are really positive - we can turn that into a reality for Middle TN and do it very easily.
We've rented heavy machinery out there before to get things moving, so the only limitation we have are volunteers!
Hit TryFour or me up anytime. Late Fall/Winter is a great time to begin. With the leaves off the trees, you can scope the land a lot easier for trail placements - there really is a lot of acreage out there.
Hope to hear from some of you this Winter or earlier!
